Adam Goodes Booing controversy

The AFL community has been torn a part due to the recent booing of Sydney Swans player, Adam Goodes, at a game between West Coast Eagles. 

The Australian of the year and Brownlow Medalist has labelled the booing as an act of racism towards Indigenous Aboriginals and has taken a leave of Absence from any upcoming games.

But was this an act of racism? And what does this say about Australia’s current sporting culture?
