Our audiences
SYN continues to tap into the hearts of Melbourne's youth - young people aged 15-24 only make up 18% of Melbourne's overall population, yet this group forms 54% of SYN's audience.
We're making unique radio and TV for young people in their own city, and they're tuning in loyally.
Who's listening to SYN radio?
According to McNair Ingenuity Research, an estimated 80,000 people aged 15+ listen to SYN radio at some time in a week.
Our listeners are loyal - in an average week, SYN listeners tune in for 12.2 hours.

Our target audience is 12-25 year olds, and this survey* shows we're hitting the mark - only 18% of all Melburnians fit in that grouping, yet 54% of the SYN audience are in that age bracked. We're well skewed to the culture, ideas and perspectives of younger listeners.
