Big West Festival Street Party

Big20West20Fest.jpg

Performing arts and Will Dawson take to the streets of Footscray. Result: The Tempest’s Calbian as a climate change refugee. A disharmonious, farcical Share House complete with hills hoist drama. Neighbours takes us on a magical performative walking tour along Nicholson Street complete with boxing match to “Eye of the Tiger”. Joseph O’Farrell tells us about Blood! Death! Show!, created by Deer Park North Primary School students and inspired by ghost stories. Women seek shelter from the elements in Dwelling, performed in a temporary house built by students of Victoria and Monash Universities. Big West Festival kicks off in style, until November 28.
