Bill Leak’s latest cartoon labelled ‘racist’

In response to the uncovering of abuse at the Don Dale Youth Detention Centre in Northern Territory, The Australian published a cartoon by Bill Leak which has angered many in the community.

The Australian has stood by the cartoon as backlash continues to grow.

But should the cartoon have been published in the first place?
