Born in the 80s, the 80s

Mouthful of Diamonds – Phantogram
Bohemian Like You – Dandy Warhols
Cheated Hearts – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Mr Milk – You Am I
Paradise Circus – Massive Attack
Cupid’s Trick – Elliott Smith
Hair Down – Cold War Kids
Concerning the UFO Sighting Near Highland, Michigan – Sufjan Stevens
Super Too Short – Nick Thayer (Super Mario Remix!)
Lust for Life – Iggy Pop & The Stooges
I Just Love You More – Kate Nash
Chelsea and Yaz (Chasemin? Yelsea? Send in your votes, peoples!) were riding high after their morning appearance on 80s Rockarama with Eloise.
Old vs New featured the epic Yeah Yeah Yeahs, or moreso, Karen O’s fashion sense and its radness. The general consensus was that equal love can be shared between the old and newer versions of the New York art-rock band, but there is perhaps more energy and excitement in their older records.

Anyone who can wear a bulb cut and still be cool, is greatly admired by the She-Bangs team.
Who needs a feature track when you can have many? Yaz interspersed the night’s tracklist with some Scene and Heard segment songs – this week, West Coast USA bands. Win!
And who needs a proper Crimp when you can Sims talk your way through the final segment? Thanks Eloise, for posting  the following video to our Facebook group (which you can access here). So here ’tis : Lily Allen, The Sims style.
