'Pigeons' - HERE WE GO MAGIC

 This is the 2nd record to be released from Luke Temple's outfit, Here We Go Magic, to be released on Secretly Canadian (Yeasayer, BLK JKS, Magnolia Electric Co.).
 
The New York based 5-piece spent much of 2009 on successive North American and European tours with bands such Department of Eagles, Grizzly Bear, and the Walkmen, after the success of their self titled, Feb 2009 record, inspired by 4-track recordings from lead-singer Luke Temple.
 

'Say It' - BORN RUFFIANS

 Following a massively successful Australian tour in 2009 (including St Jerome’s Laneway Festival), Canada’s Born Ruffians return with their highly anticipated new album, ‘Say It’, this 28th May on Warp (Grizzly Bear, Maximo Park, Gonjasufi).

2008 saw the Foals rise to prominence. DJ sets at house parties throughout the UK were surpassed by sold out tours across the world, stand-out TV performances, and exhilarating festival appearances. Their debut album Antidotes entered the UK charts at no. 3, achieved gold status, and attracted devoted fans across the globe.
 
Foals return in 2010 with a powerful, definitive album: Total Life Forever, and it's our Album of the Week.

“High Violet” – THE NATIONAL

"High Violet" is the 5th studio album from Brooklyn's The National, the follow-up to 2007's critically acclaimed "The Boxer," and is to be released in Australia on the 7th of May.  The album contains eleven tracks and was recorded in the band's own studio in Brooklyn with further recording and mixing at Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, Connecticut with Peter Katis.
 

'Darwin Deez' - Darwin Deez

 Hailing from New York City, the delightfully offbeat Darwin Deez (real name: Darwin Smith) will release his self-titled debut album this 23rd April on Pod (The Whitest Boy Alive, The Soft Pack, Girls) through Inertia.
