NITV's uncertain future

NITV - National Indigeneous Television - is a two-year-old station by, for and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, but it faces an uncertain future as the government's funding arrangement expires on June 30.

Chief executive Pat Turner says efforts to find out if it would be continued had met with "radio silence" from the government.
