Teachers across Victoria have taken strike action in frustration over pay and working condition negotiations with the Baillieu government.
 
Joseph Dunstan spoke to teachers, the union and Peter Hall, Minister for the Teaching Profession.

 A survey released by the Australian Education Union today shows that one third of new teachers in Victoria do not see themselves working in the public sector after 5 years. They say that low pay along with overwhelming workloads are sending them to the private system. Overall, it’s a bleak outlook for Victorian teachers. Sally Whyte spoke to President of the Victorian Branch of the Australian Education Union mary Bluett about the survey and industrial action planned by teachers.
