Coming of Age – Celebrating 20 Years of SYN
In 2023, SYN celebrates 20 years of full-time broadcasting on 90.7 FM in Melbourne. Coming of Age recognises and celebrates the contributions made by SYN alumni, and provides a space for SYN’s current group of volunteers to connect with our history.
From January 28th to February 19th, 2023, SYN rewound to beloved shows and stories from the station’s past, with a special programming season celebrating these memories along with key moments in music and youth culture from 2003 to 2022.
On the Coming of Age podcast, hear from SYN alumni as they relive memories of their time at SYN, share insights on how they landed their first industry jobs, and pass on advice to young people kickstarting their media careers.
