Day 1 @ the house of SYN

Hey everyone!! Today was my first day of work experience. I got into the city so early and wasn’t sure what to do… so i decided to go and get a coffee…great way to start the day, energised and awake! When I first got into “The House of SYN” Emma gave me a tour of the building and introduced me to some members of the crew at SYN. I then got to have a look at the SYN website to just explore it and see what SYN has to offer and their history. At 12.30 I got to sit in on a school radio program which was taken by Antonio. It was funny because the school got lost and turned up 15 minutes late. I later found out they were on school camp…I wish my school had fun activities like this on camp…instead we spend three days in the middle of the bush!! Once they got here we went upstairs and Antonio spoke to us about the different parts of a radio program. An hour later we walked down the street to the SYN radio studio and the kids then got a chance to record their own segments, which was really cool… I would love to be on radio but I would probably just sit there speechless and look like a total idiot!! After that I walked to the Queen Vic Market for lunch, it was a peaceful walk but I  felt quite lonely though, because I sat at a table on my own…Total Loner!! I came back to SYN and now I’m writing this blog. I can’t believe that my first day of work experience is nearly over, which means only 4 days to go 🙁 I hope the other days will be as fun as today 🙂 Catchas all later and have fun reading my blog!! x
