day 1

I thought I was going to be late for my first day of work experience at SYN, after I managed to get all the trams going to the depot. Luckily, I got on a number 19 and after freaking out, I was on my way.
I ended up being early, surprisingly, and Emma showed me around the House of SYN, which is pretty awesome. I had a look at the website for a while and then headed over to the studio with Georgia.
I got to sit in on the school program, which was pretty cool. These four girls talked about the logies, what Matt Preston has under his scarf thingy (another mouth?) and who’s that fat wrestler that sits on people’s faces?.. It was interesting and pretty funny. Georgia showed me how some stuff worked and how texts come in, and how promos work etc.
Then I sat in on Blind Insight. Maritah and Joseph were so funny, the whole show was hilarious. I liked the mix of Turkish and Arabic and English music, thought that was pretty sweet. As Joseph said, “we’re multicultural, like SBS”  Maritah and Joseph gave Maritah’s grandmother a surprise phone call, and then attempted to call some other people, didn’t always work.
Blind Insight finished at 3, and then I went back to the House of SYN. And now I am writing this blog. And I’m really hungry.
First day at SYN was ultimately sweet as.
