Episode 5: Sex Obsession – 25/05/2014 – The Good, the Bad, and the Box Office

In this episode, Scott and Til pensively discuss cinema’s expression of sexual obsession. Lars Von Trier’s Breaking the Waves is the good film, with its beautiful long shots and poignantly draw characters. Joseph Gordon Levitt’s Don Jon is the bad, with its stereotypes, predictable conclusions and the least attractive Scarlett Johansson you’ll ever see. The recent is the French flick everyone is raving about – Young and Beautiful – the story of a disaffected 17 year old prostitute. This content first aired on SYN 90.7 on Sunday May 25, 2014.
