Episode 6: Mainstream Arthouse – 1/06/2014 – The Good, the Bad, and the Box Office

photo_12.jpg

This week Scott and Til are joined by David Lynch expert Mitch Cunningham to talk about arthouse films with mainstream appeal. We kick it off with David Lynch’s cinematic aneurysm ‘Mulholand Drive’, our good film. Next up is Richard Kelly’s love letter to teen angst, ‘Donnie Darko’, a controversal choice. The show is rounded out with Brian Glazer’s new alien sex romp ‘Under the Skin’ starring the vivaciously robotic Scarlett Johansson. This episode first aired on SYN 90.7 on Sunday June 1st, 2014.
