Fete de la Musique debuts in Dili

32 years ago, France hosted the first ‘Fete de la Musique’. Since then, it’s been a European Union-sponsored event in more than 100 countries and 700 cities.
For the first time, Timor Leste’s capital Dili has played host bands, choirs and orchestras taking part in the event. It was a reflection of the young country’s history and proud culture.
Yara Murray-Atfield was there and had this report.
