FRIDAY, FRIDAY, gotta get to SYN on FRIDAY

Hi again this is Lizzie, So today is Friday if you didn’t get it the title was supposed to be sung like Rebecca Black’s song Friday. hahaha.
Either way today is my last day at SYN for work experince . I definitley had a blast this week. Oh I almost forgot to tell you about last nights 1700 show. Well lucky me got to go into the channel 31 studios and at first I was going to sit and watch the 1700 team do their thing but they offered me a job to be a camera man (well WOman). It was really cool they had a band guest star on the show last night and they did a live performance.
After the show ended I headed back to the ‘House of SYN’ and sat in on the ‘Music Meeting’ where a few guys including the ‘Music Manager’ went through the stack of CDs given to SYN this past week from record labels. It was a really cool meeting.
Today I did my own show on air and I talked about random stuff like the weather and movies and music. I played a variety of both English and Asian songs. Some of them included…

  • The Time (Dirty Bit) – Black Eyed Peas
  • Beauty and the Beast
  • Teenage Dream – Glee cast version
  • Haru Haru – Big Bang
  • Wedding Dress (English Version) – Taeyang
  • …well and heaps more

After that I did some show reviews and some admin stuff. I also finished SYNcasting the Schools on Air recordings and well finish my last post for this blog.
I’d like to take this oppportunity to… (haha it sounds like a formal speech, scratch that)
I’d like to say Thank you to SYN for having me do Work Experience here and thank you to Dom for being my supervisor. I had heaps of fun this week!
