Amy Browne, co-director and producer of feature documentary ‘A Will For The Woods’ came into SYN to chat to Bethany Atkinson-Quinton. The film explores the life of Clarke Wang, a psychiatrist and musician as he plans his own green burial. They chatted about the wider issues surrounding the way people talk about death and the scope for change in western culture. Amy speaks about green burials aligning with nearly all faiths, including Jewish, Muslim, Christian traditions and also Buddhism.

“Green burials are earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, it’s only been in the last 100 years that this has changed.”– Amy Browne
