Interview: Actress – Shayne Francis

mothers-eflyer1.jpg

Earlier in the week Art Smitten had a very real chat to actress Shayne Francis about her involvement is the theatre production ‘Mothers’. The production has been facilitated by the production company ‘Improvising Change’ – which facilitates drama workshops for young people as well as community devised plays. The production of ‘Mothers’ explores very genuine perspectives of what motherhood is like for different women through the use of monologs performed by 9 different actresses. It is a showcase of new Australian creative writing, developed in a collaborative process – a tribute to mothers.
