Interview: Carolyn Bock & Helen Hopkins from The Girls in Grey

Alice Walker chats to Carolyn Bock and Helen Hopkins, actors and co-writers of theatre production The Girls in Grey. The piece explores the lives of three Australian nurses in World War One, and Carolyn and Helen discuss what this time meant for women, the mammoth task of turning historical research into a creative piece, and the reactions they’ve seen from VCE students and relatives of those involved.
The Girls in Grey is showing at the Hawthorn Arts Centre on Saturday April 11.
