Steph, Ash and Iz from the Get Cereal Monday team chat to Edward McAliece a Melbourne-based artist who has created a number of images inspired by Pasolini‘s Canterbury Tales and the Annabel Brady-Brown, the co-editor of the new Melbourne/Berlin-split film zine entitled: Fireflies.

LongPlay, a cinema bar in North Fitzroy, is set to host the launch of Fireflies this Saturday the 23rd! At 7 PM there’s a ticketed screening of Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s ‘Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives’ the Cannes Palme d’Or winner of 2010, and then the launch party starts at 9 PM featuring readings by Oliver Mol and Eloise Ross, projections and good company.

You can buy tickets to the film from the Fireflies online store at FirefliesZine.BigCartel.com – please note that there are limited seats. Otherwise head to FirefliesZine.com for more information on the zine.
