Interview: Lights On | Lights Off
Steph and Iz from Get Cereal Monday, Undercoat‘s founder Pete Saunders! Undercoats online platform and quarterly magazine aiming to share the most inspiring and innovative content from creatives. Pete also helped curate Lights On | Lights Off a new pop-up gallery in Melbourne‘s Upper West Side. The showcase will feature the works of eight artists (Caroline Meathrel-Mack, Hayley June Walker, Keith W. Clancy, Maria Simonelli, Shoso Shimbo, Danielle Harmshaw, Beck Storer and Julie Collins along with Derek John) taking residence with evolving installations that encourage city-goes to pop in and check out the day-to-day changes of the works. The gallery is completely free, and runs to the Friday, the 1st of August in the studio space either side of the Water Tank Way (off 220 Spencer Street).
To keep up with Pete’s work with Undercoat, an online community that celebrates art from students at Undercoat.net.
