Interview with Festival of SYN attendee from Warrnambool, Brooke Stirling

Kalia, a SYN blogger for the Festival of SYN spoke to Brooke Stirling, a switched-on, young Warrnambool based PR student and SYNer.  Declan, SYN’s digital content developer, invited Brooke to the big smoke to join the Festival of SYN.   What’s your role at SYN? I think I’m like the guinea pig for youth radio stations. SYN wants to start up a more local radio station down in Warrnambool, Declan wants me to coordinate down there and be a producer.  How did you get involved with SYN? I’m involved with ignite youth, a program under Culture Shift and Warrnambool Council. They give you a heads up on everything that’s happening in youth in the area and if you like it and want to you can get involved.  I’m doing PR at uni  and when I head about SYN I thought, why not. I really liked it the idea and Declan must have really liked me or something, at least thought I had some kind of potential.  How’s the festival of SYN? I’m just trying to learn everything!
