Irene Scott: from SYN to South Sudan


Join host Matilda Marozzi as she speaks to Irene Scott, a past SYNner who has found herself working as a producer at Radio Miraya in South Sudan.


Irene started at SYN doing a careers show called Wannabees. She then graduated university, found a job at the ABC Ballarat and off she went from there.


Since then she has worked as the Melbourne reporter on Triple J’s HACK program, freelanced and done a stint on radio in the Solomon Islands. To find out more tune in to this week’s SYNners Past podcast.
