SYN 90.7

Jim Lawrie Interview (30/04/15)

Jim Lawire came into SYN and chatted to Beth about about his experience being a Katy Purrer, the transition from being a solo artist into having a full band, his latest record Eons, how the decentralization of media is changing the way people relate to music reviewers and where the purpose of a reviewer lives in a world where you can readily listen to music before you buy it. You can also hear Jim play “Breaking Hearts” live in studio.

“My music doesn’t really reflect my personality but it does reflect something within me, I think writing these songs is about dealing with something in me that doesn’t quite want to be out in the open.”

Listen to Jim’s music here and find out more information here.
