Labs Online – Online Platforms

In April, we looked at what we as media makers can do when it comes to putting content online.

The fact that we now have access to a platform that is always on and whose experience is curated by each individual user means that there is a lot of noise that we as creators need to cut through for our content to be seen and heard.

We need to create a signal in the noise.

It also means that different types of content are suited for different platforms and that we need to be strategic about our platform usage.

We were also lucky to be joined by Tim Hammond from Hit 107 in Adelaide and Adam and Matt from Radio Fremantle to talk about their online content practices and strategies.

Below is a PDF of the night’s PowerPoint, while you go through it look through the lens of creating a signal in the noise.
