Lack of females in the film industry

A number of prominant actors and actresses, including Geoffrey Rush, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep are calling for there to be more females in the film indsutry. 

Panorama spoke to Sue Maslin, the producer of the upcoming Australian film “The Dressmaker”, staring Kate Winslet and Liam Hemsworth about the topic. We also spoke to Lisa French, the Deputy Dean of the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University.
