LEACH on SOCIETY Podcast Friday 12-9-2014

Federal Communications Minister Malcom Turnbull wants to sell the licences for community TV around Australia meaning no more C31. It’s an outright disgrace.
In this edition of Leach on Society Dylan delivers one of his most brutal editorial of the series and is then joined by former Channel 31 Melbourne general manager Greg Dee about what this means for the industry and our community in general.
Its September in Melbourne meaning it’s footy finals time. Dylan is joined by Ten Eyewitness News reporter and good friend of the program Duncan McKenzie-McHarg to talk about well, footy. Mostly the weekend ahead in footy but it’s all about the footy. Footy!
And this week’s Society High Flyer is comedian David M.Green he also hosted a show on Channel 31, now writes for Shaun Micalleff’s Mad As Hell and pushes the button for Rex Hunt when he calls the footy for regional radio AFL Live. Along with that David M.Green and Dylan share media war stories and remember those epic months of broadcasting that was former radio Station Melbourne Talk Radio (MTR) 1377.
There are only so many episodes of Leach on Society left. Enjoy them while you can!
