Lucky Seven

Great Scott!
This past Saturday night saw the very first two-hour extravaganza of Something Completely Different! Amidst our usual ramblings, we covered everything from ingenious pranks to imaginary friends. Meanwhile, m’colleague Tony Besselink treated listeners to an overly-preachy, hastily-formed fable titled The Eagle and the Worm in Communist Russia. With another dynamite instalment of 50/50 and Good Question thrown in for good measure, this was one huge show. In case you happened to miss this seventh instalment of Something Completely Different, not to worry: it’s available for stream / download at the following address…
We also played quite a few tunes throughout the course of the show. Here’s the mammoth playlist…
PLAYLIST: Season One, Episode Seven
Morrissey – I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris
HelloGoodbye – When We First Met
Still Flyin – The Hottchord Is Struck
Belle And Sebastian – Write About Love
Yeti – Never Lose Your Sense Of Wonder
Neko Case – People Got A Lot Of Nerve
She And Him – I Thought I Saw Your Face Today
The Undertones – Wednesday Week
Sonny And The Sunsets – Heart Of Sadness
The Love Language – Heart To Tell
Gypsy And The Cat – Time To Wander
Robyn – Hang With Me

The one-hour edition of Something Completely Different returns next Saturday from 7pm on SYN. Join us for another hour of what’s been described by experts as ‘radio’. ‘Til then, friends!
