Melbourne the allergy capital of the world

Recent statistics from Fairfax Media has labelled Melbourne the allergy capital of the world.

The report shows a 110 per cent increase in food-related anaphylaxis hospital admissions with the number of Australians hospitalised with severe life-threatening allergic reactions having increased by 50 per cent between 2005 and 2012.

Alex Darling explores the danger of these rising cases and how we can change the way we see and inform young Australian’s.
