Recent statistics from Fairfax Media has labelled Melbourne the allergy capital of the world.
The report shows a 110 per cent increase in food-related anaphylaxis hospital admissions with the number of Australians hospitalised with severe life-threatening allergic reactions having increased by 50 per cent between 2005 and 2012.
