National Enrol to Vote Day

Youth organisations, and social enterprise Y Vote, today held a ‘National Enrol to Vote Day’ across the country.

The initiative encourages young people to enrol to vote, after 25% of 18-24 year olds were not enrolled in the last federal election

So why aren’t young voters coming to the polls? Does more need to be done to encourage the youth vote?

Reporter Sally Hayles finds out.
