November The Hoist… Unplugged line up

The Hoist…Unplugged is back for another month with a brand new line up that will blow your socks off!
Local bands The Give and Kins take to the stage Friday November 19th for exclusive sets at Signal, the City of Melbourne youth space between 6 and 9pm.

Signal are always keen to open up their doors to young music lovers. They know that listening to good music is just the way we like to do it here in Melbourne, regardless of age.

WHEN: Friday 19th November, 6-9pm

WHERE: SIGNAL, Flinders Walk, Northbank, Melbourne VIC 3001
Behind Flinders St Station towards Sandridge Bridge

WHO: The Give and Kins

With support from Signal, SYN local music program The Hoist will host a bunch of up and coming Melbourne bands the third Friday of every month until the end of 2010.

With a sound that incorporates alternative pop and a dash of funk, The Give are sure to put you in the mood to get your boogie on. As a special treat they will be stripping their pizzazz sound back a few layers to reveal a mellow and intimate acoustic set on the night.
Kins are a blend of whimsical pop, striking guitar and intricate melodies. This new musical project brought to life by Thom Savage, former member of Oh Mercy, will act as a moniker for his eagerly anticipated debut record. Now with the addition of a few friends onto the band line up, their beautiful tunes will have you weak at the knees.
