Oz Comic-Con Interview: Dean Rankine
Dean Rankine is a mainstay of the Australian comic scene, having worked on the adventures of Itchy and Scratchy, Spider-Pig, Milhouse and the gang for Simpsons Comics (Published by Matt Groening’s Bongo Comics). Dean is a regular contributor to Australian MAD magazine and he draws ‘My Mother is a Brain-Eating Zombie’ and ‘Flatman and Ribbon’ for the UK’s longest running comic, The Dandy. He’s illustrated books for Ashton Scholastic, Acorn Press, Foundation House and his collection of work, ‘God’s Love is Like a Conjoined-Twin’, is published by Lamp Post. His self-published work includes ‘Full Metal Chicken’ and ‘Open Your Heart When They Hate Your Guts’.
