Pokemon Go and virtual reality gaming

Australia has been in Pokemon fever ever since ‘Pokemon Go’ was released yesterday.
The new mobile app merges the real world and virtual reality, encouraging players to travel the city to find and catch Pokemon.
But does the game live up to the hype? And how could its success impact the future of games design?
