Recommended settings for video content
When you export your video from Adobe Media Encoder (when using Premiere) or Compressor (if using FinalCut Pro), choose the following settings:
File type: |
MPEG4 (.mp4) or QuickTime (.mov) |
Video: |
Encoding: h.264 |
Audio: |
Encoding: AAC |
If you use these settings, it will keep the file size relatively small while maintaining decent image and sound quality, meaning you can tick “Video is Flash-ready” on the video upload page. This will allow the video to be played straight away, with no waiting while it gets processed by the site.
