Religious leaders’ letter against climate change

Leaders from within many of Australia’s major religious groups have joined together to publish an open letter on The Guardian Australia.

The letter, published today, calls on Australia’s politicians to act on the issue of climate change.

But do religious leaders actually have role to play in environmental issues? Or should they stay out of it?

Reporter Sally Hayles finds out.
