A little didactic, but an important political message of which Australia should take note. Katie on Peter Sollett’s Freeheld, as terminally ill police officer Laurel (Julianne Moore) fights for her pension to go to same-sex partner Stacie (Ellen Page), as would be the case for heterosexual couples.
