Rocking the Suburbs

A dispute over an inner-city music venue looks slightly closer to resolution. A few days ago, the operators of Collingwood’s Bendigo Hotel met with Yarra city councillors. The hotel had been the target of noise complaints and the dispute nearly ended up at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Yara Murray-Atfield spoke to publican Guy Palermo, City of Yarra Mayor Jackie Fristacky, and Music Victoria CEO Patrick Donovan about live music legislation.
