San’s Music Spotlight – Pokémon Reorchestrated (PREO)


Every week Producer San selects a piece or project video game music deserving of the Player One Music Spotlight.

This week it’s the Pokémon Reorchestrated (PREO) project which is lead by composers and musicians, Braxton ‘Skotein’ Burks and Eric Buchholz. Pokémon Reorchestrated is dedicated to transforming the memorable songs of the main series of Pokémon games into cinematic orchestral scores for all to enjoy. Their breakthrough album release was Pokémon Reorchestrated: Kanto Symphony covering the music from the first generation of games, Versions Red and Blue.

Pokémon Reorchestrated in the past has also covered Generation II in their album Double Team! is looking to cover Generation III’s Hoenn next with Pokémon Reorchestrated: Hoenn Summer which is set to be released in August this year!
