Calling Melbourne’s budding podcast makers. This school holidays you can learn to make your own podcasts at The Dream Factory in Footscray.
Presented by SYN Media and Inner West Community Enterprises this workshop will cover all the basic skills you need to be a podcasting star.
You’ll learn:
- Microphone technique
- Program planning
- how to come up with a great topic and catchy title
- Interview skills
- Basic audio recording and post-production skills
If you already have an idea for a podcast we’ll help you develop it but don’t worry if you don’t have any ideas yet. This school holidays is a great time get started! Absolutely no experience is required.

Location: The Dream Factory, 90 Maribyrnong Street, Footscray
Cost: $79 per student
Food: There will be a 1 hour lunch break. Bring your own lunch or buy something in Footscray. There will be a morning tea provided by inner West Community Enterprises.
