The Hourly Wage

How much are you worth?
Sixteen dollars an hour? Twenty-five? Thirty-four?
What is that?
A dozen candy-bars? A quarter of a tank of petrol? Drinks, popcorn a choc-top and two tickets to see bad acting in sticky seats with a sub-par projector?
Well… if you’re lucky.

Try as we might, we can’t escape it. Everything costs, and everything costs money.
According to my Youth Allowance, students are meant to live off about $250 a week… which equates to about $35 a day… and this is before rent.

So what do you do? How do you make ends meet? Do you cheat, work, sacrifice, save?
Tune in to The Hourly Wage, Saturdays 6 til 7pm.

A show about money… money and dick jokes.
