Sustainability in Agriculture

You can’t be green if you’re in the red.

Every farmer wants to leave their farm in a better state than they found it. How can the next generation of farmers do more with less and ensure they are preserving our environment for generations to come? In Australia drought and water usage poses a particular challenge for sustainable farmers.

New voices in the Australian agricultural industries share their opinions on the importance of sustainable farming.

This is one of seven podcasts produced at the Horizon Summit in June 2016 with the support of SYN Media. Young farmers and agricultural science students from around Australia convened for the summit and shared their views on the future of agriculture.

This podcast was produced by Wave Camp, Peter Coles, Sam Bell and Jordy Kitschke
