SYN Bloggers at the VALA Conference – JB

The group are going to be roaming around the conference providing coverage through blogs, videos and podcasts at
This is a really exciting project for me to be involved in because it is a great showcase for how new technologies and media can be used to engage young people. As a community broadcaster I’ve seen how community radio and television can engage young people, but new technologies open us up to so many more possibilities. Today we’re testing some of these technogies out as part of the VALA conference.
“Youth Voices” is a poignant theme for the young people we’ve got involved as part of this project so I’m excited to hear their perspectives on the theme.
