SYN- work experience Day 2

For the first half of work experience we ripped CD’s, which wasn’t that bad. But it was a little frustrating when all the songs on the albums weren’t labelled, so that was a little annoying and time consuming… but anyways after our break we started working on our Promos and IDs, Kristina explained to us what it was and played a couple of the previous work experience students Promos, to give us some ideas about what to record.  Michelle and I brainstormed a couple of ideas of what we could say and what we wanted to talk about. But after a while we just started saying whatever and recorded some of our discussions where some of it actually became a part of our final promo, and Kristina told us before we started that some people’s promos included bloopers. Most of our better ideas came from recordings that were unscripted and unplanned. Recording was a lot of fun and being able to record in a studio gave me a better understanding of how to use all the recording equipment. Also it was really fun editing the promos and IDs and adding all the extra sound effects to the original recordings. One of our final promos turned out really well and hopefully during the week we will have some more time to edit other promos 🙂
