i think the drought is effecting alot of people but the main people im worried about is the farmers and there children because farmers are losing lots lots of money, crops and lots more so i think the drought is very important & i hope when people read this they will agree with me when i say john howard may have done something "BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH" so i think he should do something now not soon but now!thankyou for all the people that have read this for reading thisand i hope you agree with me.

I think that the drought has a big effect on us country people. You hear all this news about the drought on the TV but still the government hasn't done any thing to help this problem. I think they should really do some thing about this and they should do it quick !. I have a few friends who have been effectd by this situation.

Yes the drought is hard on everyone. First we need to learn that if it was not a drought would we go back to wasting water? The answer would be yes, we need to learn to use water I an efficient way so that we can use the water and still have it. My father is a farmer and is effected by the drought it is harder for aagricultural needs because the government would rather give the water to the towns people before the farmers then meaning that all farmers will be another words stuffed! There would be no milk or food for anyone if we carry on in this way.

Drought has effected me a lot because my family has a dairy farm. We had 900 cows, now we only have 400. We also had five full time workers, now we only have one. Every weekend I have to milk the cows with Dad. Mum milks the cows Wednesday to Friday and drives the tractor for all the rest of the week. We cant go away on holidays any more as a whole family because some one has to stay home and milk the cows with our worker. I think that the people in that article are not alone. There are lots of farmers in the same position. And the drought sucks!

The drought has effect most farmers in Australia because of a lack of rain and of food for the livestock. The livestock are dying and farmers are selling up .
