In July 2004 Norma Khouri, best selling author of 'Forbidden Love' was exposed as a fake.
Anna Broinowski's latest film 'Forbidden Lies' is a dramatise documentary which attempts to investigate the accusations surrounding Norma which suggests she had fabricated the alledgedly biographical tale of a Muslim friend who was killed for dating a Christian.
