The Eleventh Hour

Holy penultimate program, Batman!

It’s only the second last instalment of Something Completely Different’s debut season. As ever, m’colleague Tony Besselink and I had a blast strutting our stuff on the airwaves. The show offered much fun and frivolity, covering everything from pandas’ Obsession For Men to teddy bear picnics, as well as the latest Transformers film and a nostalgia-filled trip down memory lane. If you want to get your hands on a stream/download of this jam-packed gem of an episode, all you have to do is head to the following address…

Unlike last week, we managed to get our mits on a high-quality archive of the show! Ain’t that something? Meanwhile, we also played quite a few tunes throughout the course of the show. Presenting the playlist for #11…

PLAYLIST: Season One, Episode Eleven

Roxette – Joyride
Split Enz – One Step Ahead
Architecture In Helsinki – Yr Go To
Music For Animals – If Looks Could Kill
The Futureheads – Struck Dumb

Good news, everyone! You can actually access all of our past episodes on the Something Completely Different homepage, as hosted on SYN’s website. Life is good. M’colleague Tony Besselink and I return next Saturday from 7pm on SYN for our season finale. It’s going to be epic. ‘Til then,

– Nick
