The long yet winning battle of LGBTQI in Australian schools
With the recent controversy surrounding the Gayby Baby documentary and the announcement of respectful relationship education classes in Australian schools, the debate surrounding gender education has been brought into light once again.
But are we doing enough to open conversation surrounding LGBTQI?
Reporter Alex Darling attended the Gender Literacy conference at RMIT and also spoke to Co-ordinator of Stand Out, Ivy Mc Gowan, to answer this very question.
