Things I’ve Learnt: Day Three

1. A lot of work goes into what appears to only be a few lines of news/headlines
2. Newsreaders of SYN sound normal until they’re in front of the microphone
3. You need to press ‘stop’ before you can copy/cut/delete on Audition

The day started with editing Schools On Air audio, and then Annie and I joined SYN’s news team. We got to write a piece on Caroline Wozniacki and we also got to read the 5 o’clock news! It was a little nerve-wracking but a super cool experience; who else would get the chance to go on radio during work experience?
