TPP: Is the devil in the detail?

The Trans Pacific Partnership, or TPP, is a regional fair trade agreement involving 12 pacific nations and headed by the US. The agreement is being negotiated under highly secretive circumstances, however Wikileaks have leaked one of the highly secretive chapters. The agreement is said to remove barriers to trade and investment within the region, however concern has been raised over the agreement’s threat to national sovereignty and restrictions surrounding patents and intellectual property.Reporter Nick Reid spoke with Professor Thomas Faunce from ANU to find out more.
