Training courses

SYN offers young people aged 12-25 the chance to learn all about making radio: studio technical skills; on-air announcing; planning and producing a radio show; media law and community broadcasting. SYN is also developing a television training program similar to our radio training program.

SYN hosts activities and programs for schools and groups that provide unique learning opportunities to students from all backgrounds and skill levels. Throughout the year, SYN also hosts workshops and learning events for students and teachers and offers a series of multimedia resources for young people across Australia. Our programs teach digital and multi-literacy to young people from Victoria, providing a hands-on way of learning that engages young people.

If you would like more information about SYN's training programs, please contact SYN's Education and Training Manager, Nicole Hurtubise, or phone 03 9925 4693.
