Was the Luck of The Irish with me for my 1st day at SYN?

Hi my name is Siobhan and today was my first day at SYN! As I arrived at the House of SYN, I looked around and thought, “Why are so many people wearing green hats and outfits?” And then suddently I remembered, it was St. Patirck’s Day (I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t remembered this date, for you see I am Irish). The big question from that moment on was, ‘Will the Luck of The Irish remain with me while I go and do my week -long Work Experience at SYN?’So far… it seems that this is the case. I had a lovely first day: being taught the basic ropes (such as where the microwave was) before we were thrown into a bunch of cool stuff like recording, using sound panels and editing. We had to write and record a promo for SYN which was really cool. It’s amazing to see how much effort goes into something that only lasts for about 10 seconds, but the work is really rewarding in the end. Plus it’s funny and yet so cringe-worthy listening back to the sound of your own voice! Finally, we were introduced to the SYN webstie so we could write our blogs and keep up to date of all the awesome stuff planned for this week, which brings me to where I am now. I had nothing but a great time today and I’m so excited for what’s in store over the next 4 days!
